Frequently Asked Questions

Why are vets necessary for your pet's health?

You never want to leave a visit too late, making an emergency out of something that is preventable. Regular check ups for your animal are essential to ensure a long, healthy, happy and comfortable life. Routine items such as vaccinations or breed specific check ups will give a great snap shot for the quality of life and health condition of your animal, giving you priceless peace of mind.

How frequently should you take your family pet to the vet?

Annual health checks are the best course of action to allow your local vet to check on any underlying health conditions and prevent problems before they become an emergency. There are certain health quirks and warning signs that only a qualified and experienced vet can read, which is why these check ups can be so important.

Do I need to make an appointment to see a vet or can I just turn up?

Unless it is an emergency, our practices are by appointment only. If your pet is in danger, extreme pain or has become incredibly ill, we will always try to squeeze them in or refer them to one of our partnering emergency hospitals.

Do vets do home visits?

Many of them do. Our handy location means that it is easy to get to us from many suburbs in New South Wales. By visiting our practice in person, we will have all of the right tools, treatments and products on site to give your pet the best care possible.
