Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have emergency appointments?

Our team is passionate about providing an ongoing continuity of care for your animals.  If an emergency pops up, call our team and they will do their very best to get you and your pet in as soon as possible.

We know, however, that emergencies can happen at any time.  Outside of business hours we recommend three dedicated emergency services that provide 24/7 pet patient care.  We work together with these vet hospitals and can share information between us to provide you a seamless care experience.  These vet hospitals are VSOS: Veterinary Specialists of Sydney, Small Animal Specialist Hospital and Animal Referral Hospital.  Click here for more information and their contact details.

How much does a vet cost?

We have an extremely wide range of vet services offering everything from dentistry, microchipping, surgery, puppy preschool and many more.  This means there is a huge variation in the costs involved for each visit.

If you have an enquiry about a specific service, contact us and our team can help provide more information.  You can also ask them about payment options and pet insurance coverage.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book appointments easily for both our Sutherland and Como Vet clinics by either calling us or booking online.  We are the kind of people who answer the phone and won’t leave you stuck in a loop of endless menus and numbers, so give us a call today!

What if my pet is nervous or doesn’t like the vet?

Visiting a vet can be much like visiting a doctor, and we understand that this can make both owners and pets quite nervous.  We love animals and will do our best to make them feel comfortable and at ease in our clinics.  We also know how much owners love their pets and will do everything we can to put you at ease as we care for your loved one.

During surgery and procedures, we have a number of pain relief options for our pet patients to ensure that they are comfortable and safe the entire time.  Our methods are state of the art, using modern technology and anaesthesia systems.  Our vets and nurses are experts at caring for animals and will take every measure to care for your pet well.

Vet Jannali

We Are Close to Jannali

Our expert team of vets and nurses are here to help with all your pet care needs.  As your local Jannali vet, our clinics provide both general care and emergency care for your animals.

We have been taking care of pets across South Sydney for over 25 years, including many furry friends from Jannali.  If you need a vet in Jannali, NSW 2226, our Sutherland clinic is less than a 5-minute drive to the south, and our Como clinic is less than a 5-minute drive to the North.  This equates to roughly a 20–25-minute walk (which can be perfect if you are combining a daily walk and basic check-up for your dog!).

At every appointment, we always aim to provide the best care and peace of mind for both you and your pet, and you can trust you are seeing the very best vet Jannali-wide.  We know they can be considered your fur, scale or feather babies and take extra care to treat them with love, respect, and excellence.
